Dentons has appointed Craig Kenny as a partner in its Real Estate practice in Dublin, adding an experienced adviser on major Irish property transactions as the firm continues to build out its Ireland offering. Dentons said Kenny has advised on some of the largest and most significant real estate transactions in the Irish market over the past decade.
Kenny’s practice spans commercial real estate work across development, construction, property finance, landlord and tenant matters, and portfolio acquisitions. And Dentons also advises on acquisitions and development of data centres and build-to-rent and private rented sector schemes, and his experience includes supporting the real estate aspects of large mergers and acquisitions.
Dentons said Kenny’s client base includes institutions, pension funds, property companies, financial institutions, overseas investors, and international retailers. The firm described him as commercially focused and said his move connects his clients to Dentons’ UK, Ireland, and Middle East real estate group and to the firm’s broader global platform, which it said includes more than 1,500 real estate lawyers worldwide.
Dentons executives framed the hire as part of ongoing investment in the Dublin office and the real estate sector more broadly, and as a step intended to deepen sector expertise and strengthen service to international clients active in Ireland.
