And with extensive experience advising federal contractors on complex government contracting matters, such as disputes, compliance, and investigations, Sherwood’s arrival enhances the firm’s ability to offer strategic counsel in navigating these high-stakes, highly regulated areas.
Sherwood has a track record of representing contractors in disputes involving the Contract Disputes Act, cost accounting standards, cost allowability and requests for equitable adjustment, among other areas. And his practice covers a wide range of compliance and contract formation issues, including procurement integrity, data rights, mandatory disclosure, bid protests, conflicts of interest, ethics, commercial products/services and other transaction agreements. Sherwood’s litigation experience also includes matters before the Court of Federal Claims, the Armed Services Board of Contract Appeals and the Government Accountability Office.
