Dentons HPRP has expanded its partnership with Akbar Bayu and Leonardo Richo Sidabutar becoming partners and Rita Mansjur joining the firm as a Tax partner, strengthening its corporate, dispute resolution and tax capabilities in Indonesia.
Bayu joins the partnership in the Corporate and Commercial practice. He has more than 15 years of experience advising domestic and international clients across corporate transactions, mining and natural resources, TMT, real estate and regulatory matters.
A Certified Mining Legal Consultant, Bayu has advised on acquisitions, divestments, cross-border investments and regulatory compliance, with particular experience in Indonesia’s mining industry.
Sidabutar has been appointed a partner in the Dispute Resolution practice and brings more than 17 years of experience in commercial litigation, arbitration, restructuring and insolvency, bankruptcy and state administrative disputes.
His work spans industries including energy, mining, infrastructure, transportation, shipping and financial services.
Mansjur joins Dentons HPRP as a partner in the Tax practice with more than 20 years of experience across public accounting, consulting and in-house roles. She advises on tax compliance, planning, audits, disputes and litigation, transaction-related tax matters and business restructurings.
