Dentons Link Legal has appointed Arjun Nihal Singh as a partner in its Competition Law Practice Group, adding an experienced antitrust lawyer as the firm expands its capabilities across competition law, merger control, and regulatory matters.
Singh joins Dentons Link Legal after spending 12 years at Luthra and Luthra Law Offices India.
During his tenure at Luthra and Luthra, Singh progressed from a young lawyer to partner, gaining experience advising clients on competition law and related regulatory matters.
His move to Dentons Link Legal marks the next stage of a career focused on antitrust and competition issues.
Singh said he plans to help build and expand Dentons Link Legal’s Competition Law practice while continuing to advise clients on significant competition law, merger control, and regulatory matters.
Merger control is an increasingly important component of major corporate transactions, particularly as regulators scrutinize consolidation across industries and transactions can require competition approvals in multiple jurisdictions.
Competition lawyers can become involved throughout the transaction lifecycle, from assessing potential regulatory obstacles and structuring deals through merger filings, regulatory engagement, investigations, and related proceedings.
Singh’s addition provides Dentons Link Legal with another senior lawyer focused on those issues.
The appointment also gives Singh access to the broader Dentons network as he works with clients whose competition and regulatory matters can extend beyond India.
