Dentons has named Chad Higgins Managing Partner of its Portland, Maine, office, succeeding Andrew Helman, who had led the office since its establishment in 2022.
Higgins joined Dentons in 2024 and represents clients in state and federal courts across the U.S. in products liability and mass tort matters, with a particular focus on environmental litigation.
His practice also includes advising consumer products and food and beverage clients on regulatory and compliance matters.
Helman joined Dentons in 2021 and became the Portland office’s founding managing partner when it opened the following year. He is a partner in the firm’s Restructuring, Insolvency and Bankruptcy practice.
The Portland office has grown to 13 lawyers since its launch in 2022.
