Dentons announced that Kevan Lee Deckelmann had joined the Portland, Maine, office as a partner in the Corporate practice. Deckelmann has 20 years of experience helping businesses ranging from startups to large established companies as they seek to grow and protect their organizations.
Deckelmann advises businesses on M&A deals across various industries, including mobile telecommunications, cloud computing, and food and beverage. Her practice also focuses on media, advertising, and the marketing issues businesses face when engaged in email, social media, and SMS marketing, including endorsers, promotions, and sweepstakes.
Deckelmann acts as outside counsel to companies, advising on corporate governance and strategic planning. Her understanding of the clients’ operations and goals enables her to identify potential obstacles and pathways to significant results.
Deckelmann is the second partner to join Dentons’ Portland office this year. In January, Chad Higgins, a products liability and environmental litigator, joined the firm’s Commercial Litigation practice.
