Dentons Rodyk has announced a set of management and practice leadership appointments as part of an effort to strengthen governance and develop the firm’s next generation of leaders. The changes took effect January 1, 2026.
As part of the transition, Lek Siang Pheng stepped down from his roles as Deputy Managing Partner and Head of the Litigation & Dispute Resolution practice department. Edric Pan will continue in his position as Deputy Managing Partner.
Litigation & Dispute Resolution will now be led by Lawrence Teh and Paul Wong, who will take over leadership of the department and continue building on the platform established under Siang Pheng’s tenure.
In the Corporate practice department, Sunil Rai has been appointed as the new head, succeeding Ng Eng Leng. The firm also said Emily Low and Marian Ho have stepped down from their roles as deputy heads of the Corporate department.
Dentons Rodyk also outlined leadership changes across several sector and specialist practices. Jacqueline Loke will lead the firm’s Fintech/Blockchain practice together with Hsu Li Chuan and Kenneth Oh, with Teo Yi Jing joining as deputy head. Wong Kai Yun, who recently joined the firm as a Senior Partner, will co-lead the Family & Matrimonial practice. The firm additionally named Partners Manfred Lum and Rizuan Pathie as co-heads of the Islamic Finance practice and appointed Reuben Peter as deputy head of the Construction practice.
Dentons Rodyk said the appointments reflect its broader strategy to deepen leadership capacity across the firm while maintaining continuity across key practices.
