Claneisha Gomes (Antigua Office)

Claneisha Gomes
John Cusano (Calgary)
John Cusano was recently appointed as the Office Managing Partner (OMP) in Calgary. With over 20 years of experience in the financial services sector, he has successfully defended leading financial institutions against claims of fraud, breach of contract, and negligence.
John succeeds George Tai, who will remain a key partner at the firm, focusing on mergers and acquisitions (M&A), securities, and corporate finance, particularly in the energy and technology sectors. Both will continue to serve clients in Alberta and globally.

Shamora Scott-Springer (Barbados)
Dentons Delany has announced that Shamora Scott-Springer has joined its Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice as an Attorney-at-Law in the Barbados office.
Shamora brings a diverse legal background with experience in multiple jurisdictions. Previously, she served as Judicial Research Counsel at the Judiciary of Trinidad and Tobago, where she developed strong skills in legal analysis and research.
She has built a broad practice in Nevis and Barbados, handling complex corporate transactions and high-volume litigation, including personal injury and civil disputes. She is known for her thorough preparation, strategic insight, and clear guidance for clients.

Dentons has opened a new office in Las Vegas, Nevada, with Kevin R. Stolworthy as the Managing Partner. This expansion highlights the Las Vegas market’s importance to the Firm, increasing its U.S. presence to 46 locations across major markets.
The Las Vegas office features three lawyers:
— Kevin R. Stolworthy: An experienced trial lawyer specializing in commercial litigation, particularly in construction, real estate, and insurance coverage.
— Brandon P. Johansson: Focused on complex commercial litigation with experience in state and federal courts, handling business, construction, and contract disputes.

Ramy Ramadan (Dubai)
Dentons has announced that Ramy Ramadan has joined its Corporate practice as a partner in Dubai. With over a decade of experience in cross-border M&A and corporate law in Washington, D.C., and Dubai, he will strengthen Dentons’ Corporate practice in the Middle East.
Ramy is known for advising international and regional clients, including corporations, financial sponsors, and sovereign entities, on significant transactions and projects. His expertise includes energy and infrastructure, particularly the growing data centers sector, as well as life sciences and consumer goods. He regularly provides guidance on M&A, joint ventures, and corporate structuring for project-financed assets.
