Dentons has appointed Technology, Media and Telecoms partner Carlo Salizzo in Dublin, expanding its bench in technology-focused legal services as regulatory demands rise across Ireland and the European Union.
Salizzo advises on technology and commercial contracts and works across digital regulation, data protection and privacy, intellectual property, and consumer law. Dentons said he brings deep familiarity with Irish and EU rules and regularly supports clients navigating complex legal and commercial issues, particularly those involving technology, data, and AI.
Dual-qualified in Ireland and New Zealand, Salizzo joins a Dublin TMT practice Dentons has been building out. The firm noted the hire follows the October 2025 arrival of partner David Kirton in the same group, signaling continued investment in pan-European capability for technology and regulatory matters.
Dentons positioned the appointment as a step to broaden its work with Ireland’s domestic and multinational companies and financial institutions, while strengthening support for European-headquartered technology businesses through its wider global TMT platform.
KEY QUOTES:
