Global law firm Dentons has announced the addition of Tomáš Kafka as a partner in its Prague office, further expanding its Capital Markets practice effective as of November 1, 2025.
Kafka’s appointment represents a significant enhancement to Dentons’ Capital Markets offering in the Czech Republic and Central and Eastern Europe. He brings extensive experience in domestic and cross-border debt capital markets transactions, advising financial institutions, corporations, and sovereign issuers on complex bond structures and regulatory matters.
A recognized expert in debt capital markets (DCM), Kafka’s background spans covered bonds, asset-backed securities, and hybrid instruments. He also advises clients on regulatory and disclosure requirements under the Prospectus Regulation, the Market Abuse Regulation (MAR), and related EU frameworks, as well as in equity capital markets (ECM). In addition to his private practice work, Kafka is active in academia, lecturing on bond issues and securities transactions at Charles University and Masaryk University.
His arrival aligns with Dentons’ ongoing strategy to strengthen its Capital Markets platform across Europe and globally, particularly in the rapidly evolving financial and regulatory landscape.
