Dentons has hired Vanessa Fennell as a partner in St. Lucia, bringing her back to the firm with what Dentons described as deep, multi-jurisdictional experience across key Caribbean markets. The firm noted the move is part of its push to strengthen its regional bench and broaden its ability to deliver multi-jurisdictional corporate and finance support across the Caribbean.
Fennell advises on onshore, offshore, and cross-border corporate finance matters, with a practice spanning corporate and commercial transactions, including corporate finance, banking, securities, and real estate. Dentons said her work includes complex, cross-border legal and regulatory issues involving multiple jurisdictions, with particular experience in St. Lucia, Antigua & Barbuda, Jamaica, and Saint Kitts & Nevis.
Dentons Chair and Chief Managing Partner Dustin Delany said Fennell’s background adds value to the firm’s Pan-Caribbean platform, citing her early career in Jamaica and subsequent work in multiple Eastern Caribbean jurisdictions. Dentons also noted Fennell’s engagement in outreach, charity, professional service, and community leadership, alongside her transactional practice.
Fennell said she is returning to Dentons’ Pan-Caribbean platform and culture, and highlighted a focus on delivering seamless service across the region.
