DeVry University: Partnership With 1871 Expanded

By Amit Chowdhry ● Sep 11, 2025

DeVry University has announced an expanded partnership with 1871, joining its flagship Startup Roadmap Program to enhance experiential learning for aspiring entrepreneurs further. This move builds on a longstanding collaboration between the two organizations and reflects DeVry’s commitment to preparing learners for real-world innovation and business leadership.

The Startup Roadmap Program is a rigorous 12-week accelerator designed to help founders build and launch successful startup products or services. Participants follow one of two tailored pathways: Build, for those with a validated problem and business model, and *Launch*, for founders with a live product and early signs of market fit. Both tracks focus on refining business models, validating markets, and strengthening pitches—while also cultivating the resilience and adaptability needed to thrive in startup environments.

This year’s cohort includes eight DeVry learners—six alumni and two current students—selected by university faculty and leadership. Participants are immersed in a supportive peer community and gain access to curated resources that help accelerate their ventures at every stage.

The expanded partnership follows DeVry’s recent launch of its Graduate Certificate Program in Innovation, which blends academic coursework with 1871’s industry-driven practices. Together, these initiatives aim to equip future leaders in AI, technology, and business with the tools to innovate, scale, and lead in a rapidly evolving economy.

We are proud to partner once again with 1871.”
