Diebold Nixdorf: Raj Singh Named Chief Information Officer

Diebold Nixdorf announced the appointment of Raj Singh as executive vice president and chief information officer, with Singh succeeding Teresa Ostapower, who is retiring after serving as CIO since 2021.

In the role, Singh will oversee the company’s global IT operations and cybersecurity strategy while reporting directly to Octavio Marquez, president and chief executive officer of Diebold Nixdorf. The company said Singh will focus on advancing generative AI initiatives, scalable cloud systems, modern ERP deployments, infrastructure modernization, process optimization, and enterprise analytics capabilities.

Singh brings nearly 30 years of experience in technology and digital transformation across the financial services, automotive, and energy industries. Prior to joining Diebold Nixdorf, Singh served as vice president and CIO at Visteon Corporation, where he led the company’s enterprise AI strategy, IT transformation initiatives, cloud strategy, and cybersecurity programs. Earlier in his career, he held senior technology leadership positions at Ford Motor Company, DTE Energy, Horizon Global, and Ally Financial.

Diebold Nixdorf said Singh’s experience includes leading SAP deployments, strengthening cybersecurity frameworks, and enabling analytics programs designed to support faster and more informed decision-making.

Diebold Nixdorf president and CEO Octavio Marquez said the appointment supports the company’s ongoing modernization and operational efficiency strategy as it continues to expand its digital capabilities globally.
