DISA Technologies, a company focused on mineral recovery and uranium remediation, has closed an oversubscribed Series A2 funding round, raising a total of $30 million. The round was led by Evok Innovations, with a cornerstone investment from Constellation Technology Ventures (CTV) and participation from Valor Equity Partners, Veriten, and existing investor Halliburton Labs.
The funding will be used to scale DISA’s patented High-Pressure Slurry Ablation (HPSA) technology, which is used to both improve mineral recovery for mining operators and clean up abandoned uranium mine (AUM) waste.
CTV’s investment underscores the strategic significance of DISA’s collaboration with the Navajo Nation EPA on a commercial-scale AUM remediation project. With this backing, DISA is positioned to become the nation’s first licensed provider focused on AUM cleanup. The company is currently awaiting a key license from the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), with a decision expected in September.
