Diversified has launched a new Global Managed Services Practice and appointed Rob Mello as Vice President-Global Managed Services to lead the organization as the company expands its focus on AI-enabled service delivery, technology optimization and long-term client value.
The new practice brings Diversified’s existing managed services capabilities together under a single global organization.
Mello will oversee the integration of managed services strategy, delivery and client success while helping the company develop more proactive and intelligent service models for increasingly connected technology environments.
Diversified said the launch reflects a broader shift in how enterprises manage audiovisual, broadcast, workplace and digital experience technologies.
As those environments become more interconnected and business-critical, the company believes clients increasingly need services that go beyond maintenance and technical support.
The new practice is intended to provide greater visibility into technology performance, more proactive intelligence and stronger lifecycle management.
Diversified will preserve regional expertise and specialized support while establishing more consistent global standards and service experiences.
Managed services architects and client success executives will continue working directly with clients to design service models around individual technology environments, priorities and business requirements.
The practice will focus on three primary areas.
The first is consistent delivery at global scale, with common standards and processes across regions while retaining flexibility for individual client needs.
The second is long-term client value, with an emphasis on helping organizations improve technology adoption, performance, resilience and return on investment after initial implementation.
The third is intelligent service operations.
Diversified plans to embed automation and agentic AI into the architecture and evolution of its managed services offerings.
The company expects those technologies to support more proactive monitoring, faster issue resolution and continuous optimization of client environments.
The strategy represents an effort to shift managed services from a largely reactive support model toward a system that can identify potential problems, automate portions of service delivery and continuously improve technology performance.
Mello brings more than two decades of experience building and scaling technology-enabled services for global organizations.
His previous employers include NTT DATA, Orange Business Services and IBM.
Across those roles, Mello developed new practices, launched service offerings and led transformation programs combining technology, operations and commercial strategy.
He is also a patent holder and author.
Diversified said his background in building global practices and AI-enabled services will support the company as it works to expand the scope and sophistication of its managed services portfolio.
The appointment also comes amid a broader expansion of Diversified’s leadership organization.
The company has recently added executives across technology, revenue, information technology and corporate leadership as it develops its next stage of growth.
Diversified designs, builds and operates audiovisual, broadcast and digital experience environments for enterprises, media companies and public-sector organizations.
Its projects span corporate campuses, smart workplaces, sports venues, retail networks and broadcast operations.
The Global Managed Services Practice is intended to extend that relationship beyond the design and implementation phases by helping clients operate and optimize those environments over longer periods.
