DLA Piper Adds Venture Capital Partner Brittany Turner In San Francisco

DLA Piper has added Brittany Turner as a Partner in its Emerging Growth and Venture Capital practice in San Francisco, expanding the firm’s capabilities in one of the world’s largest technology and venture investment markets.

Turner advises venture capital investors, private equity sponsors and technology companies on financings, investments, strategic transactions and other corporate matters.

She previously worked in-house at a global technology investment platform, where she helped oversee more than 100 investments spanning early-stage, growth equity and pre-IPO financings.

Her experience also includes follow-on investments, secondary transactions, restructurings and cross-border matters.

DLA Piper’s Emerging Growth and Venture Capital practice includes more than 200 lawyers advising emerging companies and venture firms across technology, healthcare, life sciences, financial services and other high-growth industries.

During the past three years, the firm has completed more than 2,100 financings globally totaling over $80 billion.
