DLA Piper recently announced the hiring of Gregory Saiontz, Camilla Wollan, Tanya Greene, and Michael Fleischman for various roles. These are the details.

Gregory Saiontz

DLA Piper announced it has welcomed Gregory Saiontz as a partner in the Corporate Practice. And he will be based in the firm’s Washington, DC office.

Saiontz’s practice focuses on late-stage and early-stage companies and private equity and other financial investment firms in corporate, M&A, and other transactional matters. Plus, he routinely advises clients across various industries, including energy and power, healthcare, aerospace, defense, government services, climate, and other technology, including software, mining and metals, industrial manufacturing, and others.

His experience includes advising an alternative energy company on creating a hydrogen mobility joint venture with a multinational automobile manufacturer and representing an alternative energy company in a joint venture in Korea in connection with receiving a $1.5 billion equity investment from a Korean multinational energy conglomerate.

Camilla Wollan

DLA Piper announced that Camilla Wollan has been appointed Country Managing Partner (CMP) for DLA Piper in Norway. Wollan will lead the company’s Norwegian and Nordic leadership management teams, covering offices in Oslo, Stockholm, Copenhagen, Aarhus, and Helsinki, and over 530 lawyers.

This appointment marks the first time DLA Piper has appointed a female CMP in the Nordic region. And since joining the firm in 2010, Wollan has been instrumental in establishing DLA Piper as a market leader in financial technology in Norway. And she will now be responsible for implementing DLA Piper’s growth strategy across all business areas across the region.

Wollan succeeds Kjetil Haare Johansen – who led the firm across the region for the last three years. And under Johansen’s leadership, the firm has grown at scale, with revenues increasing by NOK100 million.

As Wollan enters this role, her focus will be on transforming the firm across the region into one that is innovative and dynamic, utilizing the firm’s successes across its international business.

Tanya Greene

DLA Piper has welcomed Tanya Greene as a partner in the Litigation Practice, focusing on class actions and complex litigation. And she will be based in the Los Angeles office, supporting the robust litigation practice in the region.

Greene has substantial experience across a broad range of complex commercial matters at the trial and appellate level in California and throughout the country. And her litigation and counseling experience includes work for prominent companies in heavily regulated industries, including finance, technology, aerospace and petroleum.

Greene works with companies in the supply chain of highly regulated, consumer-facing industries to identify and manage their legal risks, develop creative and cost-effective strategies for furthering their business interests, protect brands and preserve consumer goodwill. Plus, her experience includes the litigation and resolution of consumer-related class claims, including contractual disputes, product liability claims, and claims under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, the Rosenthal Act, and a range of other state consumer protection statutes.

Michael Fleischman

DLA Piper has welcomed Michael Fleischman as an AI Policy Advisor. And he will be based in the Washington, DC office and will be part of the Government Affairs and Public Policy team.

Fleischman has 10+ years of professional experience focusing on Congress and the Executive Branch, joining DLA Piper from a national organization focused on advocacy in Washington DC. And he oversaw the technology policy team with a focus on AI and semiconductor cooperation and regulation.

Previously, Fleischman served as Legislative Director for Congresswoman Grace Meng in the US House of Representatives where he directed and supervised all elements of the Congresswoman’s legislative operations. Plus, his accomplishments also include leading and organizing the passage of several bills through the House of Representatives and overseeing the Congresswoman’s activities on the House Foreign Affairs Committee and the Democratic Outreach & Engagement Task Force.
