DLA Piper announced it has appointed Joel Montin as a partner in its Swedish regulatory and Government Affairs practice.
Montin brings extensive experience in the banking and capital markets industry, both in Sweden and internationally. He has a strong track record of advising major financial institutions, investment advisors, and investment banks on various matters.
Montin focuses on funding and capital management and investment activities. He is well versed in the legal and regulatory aspects of derivatives and structured products, among other financial services and products. His skills are further enhanced by his previous positions at Nordea and Sweden’s central bank.
Montin joined DLA Piper as a partner in Stockholm on December 1.
