DLA Piper has reported strong year-over-year financial growth for 2025, with global revenue reaching $4.6 billion. The result represents an increase of 8.4% compared with the previous year, reflecting continued demand across the firm’s international practices, sectors and markets. Profit per equity partner increased at a faster rate, rising 19.6% to $4.14 million.
The improvement indicates that DLA Piper expanded profitability alongside revenue growth during the year.
DLA Piper also continued investing in its global platform by recruiting 72 partners across strategic locations, practice groups and industry sectors.
The additions were intended to deepen the firm’s experience and expand its ability to advise clients on complex matters spanning multiple jurisdictions.
Cross-border capabilities remain an important part of DLA Piper’s operating model because many of its clients conduct business across several countries and require coordinated legal support.
The firm also promoted 65 professionals to the partnership, reflecting continued investment in the development and retention of internal talent.
Together, the external hires and internal promotions added 137 partners to DLA Piper’s partnership ranks during the year.
The expansion gives the firm additional capacity to support clients across transactional, litigation, regulatory and advisory matters while continuing to grow its international platform.
DLA Piper’s 2025 results demonstrate growth across both financial performance and senior talent as the firm continues strengthening its global reach.
