Chambless brings a substantial track record advising emerging-growth and venture capital-backed companies, as well as their investors, across corporate, financing, and mergers-and-acquisitions matters. Her work spans corporate governance, venture capital financings, cross-border investments, strategic acquisitions, joint ventures, and secondary transactions. She focuses on technology and life sciences companies at various stages of development.
Her client portfolio includes a wide range of high-growth and late-stage companies across sectors such as aerospace, defense, dual-use technologies, digital health, consumer products, and media.
The hire arrives as DLA Piper continues to grow its position in the global venture ecosystem. The firm’s Emerging Growth and Venture Capital practice now includes more than 200 lawyers delivering strategic counsel to emerging companies and venture firms across technology, healthcare, life sciences, and financial services.
Over the past three years, the practice has completed more than 2,100 global financings totaling over $80 billion.
