DLA Piper has announced that Shana Ramirez has joined the firm as a Partner in its Leveraged Finance practice, based in the Los Angeles office. Her appointment strengthens the firm’s capabilities in advising on a broad spectrum of financing transactions for both lenders and borrowers.
Ramirez brings experience in structuring and negotiating secured and unsecured financings at both the fund and portfolio company levels. Her work spans domestic and cross-border acquisition financings, unitranche facilities, first lien and second lien arrangements, subscription lines, net asset value-based facilities, general partner and management company financings, as well as leverage and warehouse facilities.
She has a strong background in fund finance, representing clients across multiple sectors, including private equity, real estate, infrastructure, and private credit. Her ability to navigate complex financing structures and tailor solutions to meet the needs of diverse stakeholders makes her a valuable addition to the firm’s finance team.
With Ramirez joining the practice, DLA Piper continues to expand its bench of experienced finance lawyers, enhancing its ability to deliver comprehensive legal support for lending and borrowing transactions in the U.S. and internationally.
