Docebo Launches Knowledge And Agents To Expand Workforce Readiness Platform

Docebo has launched Docebo Knowledge and Docebo Agents, expanding its workforce readiness platform with enterprise knowledge retrieval and AI agents designed to automate learning and upskilling workflows.

The launch advances Docebo’s strategy of bringing learning, skills intelligence, and organizational knowledge together within a single AI-powered platform.

Docebo Knowledge is designed to turn fragmented enterprise information into a unified knowledge layer connected directly to learning. The system can index content stored in Docebo, including SCORM and xAPI packages, alongside approved sources such as SharePoint, Confluence, Google Drive, and Slack.

Users can search across those sources from one interface and receive source-grounded answers, procedures, videos, and links without separately accessing each underlying platform.

Docebo said the system also connects knowledge retrieval directly to formal learning, allowing users to move from an answer into a course, certification, practice session, or other workflow.

Permissions are inherited from each connected source, so users and AI agents only have access to information they are authorized to view.

Docebo Agents adds AI-driven automation across the company’s learning platform and connected enterprise systems. The agents use learner profiles, skills data, learning history, and organizational knowledge to carry out multi-step workflows.

Four pre-built agents are available at launch.

The Authoring Agent converts source materials into structured courses with interactive elements and assessments. The Tutor Agent answers learner questions using course materials and approved company knowledge. The Reinforcement Agent provides personalized, spaced practice following course completion. And the Marketplace Agent helps administrators identify, compare, and import third-party learning content.

Docebo also offers a no-code builder that allows organizations to create custom agents by defining goals, instructions, and permitted actions.

More than 50 customers across transportation, retail, distribution, and food service tested Docebo Agents before launch.

One international electronics distributor used the Marketplace Agent to reduce approximately five hours of monthly content curation work per administrator. A global restaurant operator used the Reinforcement Agent to save store managers about 10 hours per month on training follow-up and reported that the Tutor Agent resolved 25% of frontline training questions without administrator involvement.

A retailer onboarding approximately 2,500 new employees annually also created a custom onboarding agent that it expects will save sales managers one to two hours per new hire.

Docebo built administrative controls into the agent platform, allowing organizations to determine which agents can operate, who can use them, and which actions require human approval. Agent activity is logged for auditability, and AI credit usage can be monitored and managed.

Docebo is also extending its platform through Model Context Protocol. This allows employees to access learning content, check progress, enroll in courses, and complete certain administrative tasks through AI tools including Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, and Claude.

Docebo Knowledge and Docebo Agents are available now to all Docebo Learn customers.

KEY QUOTES:

“Every organization is about to run two workforces: its people and the agents working alongside them. Both need the same things to perform well: trusted knowledge and an accurate picture of skills. That’s the foundation Docebo is now built on.”

“Agents run through the platform, taking on the manual work that has held learning teams back for years. Every employee gets development shaped around their own skills and goals. Less time on administration. Less budget spent on work that doesn’t move the business. More capability where it counts.”
