Docusign announced the launch of a new app for Slackbot that brings the Docusign Intelligent Agreement Management platform directly into Slack.
The app is available today and connects to Slackbot through Model Context Protocol. It is powered by the Docusign Iris AI engine and is designed to help teams access agreement intelligence, automate contract workflows, and take action on agreements using natural language.
Docusign said the app is intended to support teams across sales, legal, procurement, HR, and other business functions where agreements are central to daily work.
Agreement-related workflows often remain spread across systems, teams, and manual processes. The Docusign app for Slackbot enables employees to ask questions about agreements and receive answers in context, using information from chat history, shared files, organizational hierarchy, and CRM data.
The app can help teams initiate reviews, monitor obligations and risks, and determine next steps directly within Slack conversations.
With the integration, teams can ask natural-language questions about obligations, renewal dates, key terms, risks, and prior agreements. They can also surface relevant contracts, automate approvals and reviews, manage signatures, and trigger follow-up actions.
The app can also support sales workflows by generating agreements from approved templates using real-time Salesforce CRM data, monitoring renewals, and surfacing expansion opportunities.
Docusign said the integration can automatically write agreement status and data back to Salesforce, reducing manual updates and helping teams maintain a single source of truth.
The app also provides proactive notifications about upcoming deadlines, renewals, compliance requirements, and contractual commitments.
Docusign said the Slackbot integration maintains security, permissions, and governance while allowing teams to move from agreement insights to action. The Docusign app for Slackbot is available globally in English through the Slack Marketplace.
