Domaine Worldwide, a global Shopify design and development firm, has acquired Pattern, an award-winning digital design agency focused on commerce brands, as the combined company aims to deliver “experience-first” digital commerce at scale.

Terms were not disclosed.

Pattern said it has earned more than 200 industry awards and has been recognized by organizations including The Webby Awards, W3, Glossy, and ADWEEK for work with brands such as Marine Layer, Framebridge, Bobbie, Image Skincare, and Rothy’s. The company said it supports a range of clients from venture-backed startups to enterprise organizations that require scalable design systems and workflows, including efforts tied to AI-enabled efficiencies.

The companies said they have already collaborated on projects, and expect the integration to be seamless for teams and clients. Domaine said it supports more than 100 brands on Shopify and operates across the U.S., Canada, and Europe. The company is backed by BV Investment Partners, which is supporting Domaine’s growth strategy with its existing executive team.
