Dominion Enterprises announced it has completed a strategic merger of Cross-Sell into DataOne Software, combining two wholly owned Dominion brands into a single operating structure to accelerate growth in automotive data licensing and software solutions.
The company said the move reflects growing overlap between the businesses’ core offerings and an expectation of expanded cross-selling opportunities as demand for integrated, compliant automotive datasets increases. As part of the transition, Cross-Sell employees will join the DataOne organization as a unified team.
Under the new structure, Dominion said all data licensing products will be marketed under the DataOne brand. The Cross-Sell brand will continue to be used for dealer-focused products and solutions, which Dominion said is intended to maintain continuity for dealerships that rely on Cross-Sell reporting and market insights.
Cross-Sell, founded in 1989, has been known for dealer market intelligence, including the Cross-Sell Report. Dominion said Cross-Sell has also seen growth through expansion into “PII-free” sales-transaction data licensing, a shift that has strengthened alignment with DataOne’s data licensing expertise. DataOne provides automotive data and software solutions spanning VIN decoding, vehicle descriptions, specifications, optional equipment, and market pricing, with products designed to integrate into modern automotive workflows.
Dominion Enterprises described itself as a privately held conglomerate with data, technology, and software businesses across multiple industries, including automotive.
