Domino’s Pizza, Inc. (NYSE: DPZ) announced this week that it is going to hire over 20,000 employees across the U.S. in a wide range of positions ranging from drivers, pizza makers, customer service, and managers. And in the supply chain side, Domino’s is also hiring warehouse and production team members along with CDL drivers.

Recently, Domino’s announced that its U.S. same-store sales increased 16% in the second quarter compared to the same period a year ago — which represented the 37th consecutive quarter of growth for that segment.

Overall, Domino’s Pizza is considered the largest pizza company in the world based on retail sales with a global enterprise of more than 17,100 stores in over 90 markets. Domino’s had global retail sales of over $14.3 billion in 2019 with over $7 billion in the U.S. and nearly $7.3 billion internationally. For the second quarter of 2020, Domino’s had global retail sales of over $3.4 billion, with over $1.9 billion in the U.S. and over $1.5 billion internationally. 

Domino’s stores across the U.S. have implemented sanitizations and contactless service precautions. This includes wearing masks, the use of a pizza pedestal for contactless pizza deliveries, closing all in-store seating options, and increasing the frequency of sanitation of all regularly touched surfaces.

And as new stores continue to be built and existing stores remain busy nationwide, Domino’s said that the need to find great team members remains a priority for store managers in corporate and franchise stores nationwide. 

Oftentimes, part-time jobs could also become careers. Over 95% of Domino’s U.S. franchise owners began their career as part-time team members.
