Dominus Capital has sold Surface Preparation Technologies (SPT), a provider of rumble strips and roadway safety services, to Frontline Road Safety, a portfolio company of Bain Capital. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
SPT, headquartered in New Kingstown, Pennsylvania, provides rumble strips and related roadway safety services across the U.S. Dominus said the business expanded during its ownership through added service offerings, wider geographic reach and the integration of strategic acquisitions, positioning the company for its next phase of growth under Frontline.
Management said the company plans to continue building on investments in people, equipment and infrastructure as it joins Frontline’s platform. Dominus described the exit as consistent with its strategy of partnering with market-leading businesses and supporting both organic and inorganic growth initiatives.
