Dorsey & Whitney: Peter Ott Named As Partner In Finance & Restructuring Group

Dorsey & Whitney has added Peter Ott as a partner in its Finance & Restructuring group in Salt Lake City, marking a return to the firm after stints at Parsons Behle & Latimer and Kirkland & Ellis.

Ott most recently practiced at Parsons Behle & Latimer as of counsel and previously served as a partner at Kirkland & Ellis. He also previously practiced at Dorsey earlier in his career.

Ott’s practice focuses on debt financing transactions, advising clients on secured and unsecured financings across industries and jurisdictions. His client base includes private equity sponsors, commercial lenders, and public and private companies.

Ott earned his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law and his B.A. from the University of Utah.
