Doughlicious, the London-based international cookie dough brand, announced that it has received an investment from Future Back Ventures by Bain & Company. The investment marks a significant step in the company’s global expansion as it continues to expand its presence in the better-for-you indulgence category. The company is known for its frozen cookie dough and gelato bites, which are certified gluten-free, free from added refined sugars and white bleached flour, and contain no artificial additives or preservatives.

Future Back Ventures focuses on supporting businesses founded or led by Bain & Company alumni. Doughlicious’ Chief Financial Officer and Co-Founder, Dan Bricken, is a Bain alumnus whose early experience at the firm helped shape his leadership approach. Doughlicious becomes the first consumer packaged goods investment for Future Back Ventures, reflecting the brand’s alignment with the fund’s interest in companies reshaping categories and resonating strongly with modern consumers.

The capital will support Doughlicious’ continued retail expansion in the United States and internationally. The brand is experiencing rapid growth, supported by new retailer partnerships, expanding product offerings, and team growth. Recently, Doughlicious products launched in more than 1,000 Kroger stores across the United States, significantly increasing consumer access to its clean-label frozen indulgence products.

Doughlicious was founded in London by Kathryn Bricken and has built a following for its emphasis on premium ingredients and sustainability. The brand now distributes products in more than 8,000 retail stores across the United States, the United Kingdom, Europe, and the Middle East. With the support of Future Back Ventures, the company plans to continue expanding its global footprint and further strengthen its role in shaping what it describes as the next generation of better-for-you treats.
