Doximity: AI Search Queries Jump More Than 25% As Workflow Active Prescribers Grow Over 30%

Doximity is seeing accelerating adoption of its artificial intelligence and healthcare workflow tools, with AI Search queries increasing more than 25% quarter-over-quarter and workflow active prescribers growing more than 30% year-over-year during its fiscal first quarter of 2027.

The company also said its Doximity Ask clinical AI assistant was the top-performing U.S.-based model in the NOHARM benchmark. Doximity described the quarter as another period of record engagement across its platform.

Doximity’s AI strategy is increasingly integrated across its broader healthcare workflow platform. Ask, formerly known as DoxGPT, is a HIPAA-compliant generative AI clinical research and writing assistant. The company’s workflow tools also include PeerCheck for reviewing AI responses, Scribe for HIPAA-compliant ambient clinical note-taking, Dialer communications tools, prescription drug research and Amion scheduling.

Doximity’s network includes more than 85% of U.S. physicians across specialties and practice areas, giving the company a large existing healthcare audience through which it can distribute new AI capabilities.

Fiscal Q1 revenue increased 7% year-over-year to $156.6 million from $145.9 million. Adjusted EBITDA was $74.8 million, representing a 47.7% margin, compared with $79.8 million and a 54.7% margin a year earlier.

Net income was $24.3 million, while non-GAAP net income reached $55 million. Free cash flow totaled $39.6 million compared with $60.1 million in the prior-year period.

For fiscal Q2, Doximity expects revenue of $170 million to $171 million and adjusted EBITDA of $80.5 million to $81.5 million. Full-year fiscal 2027 revenue is expected between $671 million and $681 million, with adjusted EBITDA ranging from $309 million to $329 million.
