Doximity has acquired Montreal-based Pathway Medical Inc., a startup specialising in medical AI and clinical reference.
Half of Pathway’s team are physicians, and over seven years, they have built one of the largest AI-ready datasets covering major medical guidelines, drugs, and trials. Pathway’s model recently achieved 96% accuracy on the USMLE benchmark.
The acquisition was finalized for $26 million in cash plus up to $37 million in equity grants.
