DrayTek Partners With Enea To Enhance Next-Generation Security Platforms

DrayTek, a global provider of business networking and cybersecurity solutions, has formed a strategic partnership with telecom and cybersecurity software specialist Enea to improve application visibility and threat detection across future DrayTek networking and security platforms.

Through the collaboration, DrayTek will integrate Enea’s application intelligence technology into its next-generation products, giving IT teams greater visibility into the applications and activity operating across their networks.

The partnership comes as organizations manage increasingly complex networks and require more detailed insight into application traffic to improve security, performance and day-to-day operations.

Enea’s Qosmos ixEngine will be integrated into DrayTek’s next-generation high-performance cybersecurity platforms. The technology is designed to enhance application identification and provide greater visibility into network traffic.

DrayTek also plans to deploy Enea’s Qosmos TD SDK in an upcoming high-performance cybersecurity platform. The integration will add advanced threat detection and protection capabilities intended to help organizations identify and respond to evolving cyber threats more effectively.

The companies see application intelligence becoming increasingly important as artificial intelligence changes both legitimate network traffic and the cyber threat environment.

Enea’s technology uses continuously updated application signatures, traffic analysis techniques and threat detection capabilities to identify thousands of applications and services. The technology is used by telecom operators and enterprises around the world.

For DrayTek, the partnership expands the intelligence available within its networking and cybersecurity products as customers look for greater visibility across increasingly distributed environments.

The company serves businesses, service providers, educational institutions and other organizations that require networking infrastructure with integrated security and management capabilities.

By combining its networking platforms with Enea’s application intelligence, DrayTek expects to improve its ability to identify different traffic types, including AI-related traffic, while giving administrators more information to support security decisions.

The partnership also brings Enea’s threat detection technology more deeply into DrayTek’s future cybersecurity architecture rather than limiting the collaboration to application identification.

Enea specializes in telecom and cybersecurity software used to secure, optimize and monetize communications services. The Stockholm-based company serves more than 300 customers across over 100 countries, including telecom operators, communications platform providers, cybersecurity vendors and government organizations.

According to Enea, more than 3 billion people rely on software incorporating its technology for connectivity between people, businesses and connected devices.

The collaboration reflects DrayTek’s broader effort to strengthen the security intelligence built into its networking products as network environments become more complex and cyber threats continue to evolve.
