Dreem is an immigration platform that combines human empathy with AI precision to help global tech talent secure U.S. work visas. Pulse 2.0 interviewed dreem founder and CEO Dmitri Litvinov to learn more about the company.
Core Products
Tell us about Dreem? What are the core products and features? Litvinov said:
“Dreem is an AI-powered immigration platform for tech founders and talents to secure U.S. visas.
We help entrepreneurs, tech talent, and business leaders move to the U.S. with work visas like O-1A, EB-1A, EB-2 NIW, L-1A, and more. Combining expert guidance from U.S.-licensed attorneys, the precision of our advanced AI tools, and a project-based approach, we offer a seamless, cost-effective alternative to traditional immigration services.”
Formation Of The Company
How did the idea for the company come together? Litvinov shared:
“I spent years in the tech industry, working at Uber and Rakuten. Every time I moved to a new country, like the UK or Japan, immigration was a real struggle. Even with good lawyers, the process felt like it was built for a different century. I knew we needed something radically better. Dreem came out of that frustration: it’s a faster, founder-friendly platform that combines AI and project management principles to make immigration work like a modern product.”
Evolution Of The Company
What was the moment that transformed Dreem from an early-stage startup into a trusted partner for high-skilled immigrants in tech? Litvinov noted:
“The real turning point was when we started working with FAANG workers stuck on H-1B visas. These are people building billion-dollar systems — and they’re struggling with outdated legal workflows.
We took a different approach: treating each case like a project and breaking it down into milestones, timelines, and clear deliverables. That shift brought structure, speed, and clarity. Suddenly, top engineers were telling us, ‘I’ve never seen immigration handled this clearly before.'”
Differentiation From The Competition
In a field full of different immigration companies, how does Dreem stand out? Litvinov affirmed:
“The majority of immigration firms use a one-size-fits-all approach. Dreem doesn’t. We are tech-focused and use AI to enhance the work of our expert team. Our tool matches each client to a “job avatar” — a data-backed profile based on successful and failed applications in their exact role. Whether you’re a product manager or an AI/ML engineer, we know what immigration officers want to see. Our project managers team, working together with U.S.-licensed attorneys, guides you through every step with ease. And our clients love that it feels clear, unlike a legal black box.”
Immigration Difficulty
Is immigration becoming more challenging for tech talent globally? Litvinov explained:
“Yes and no. While some countries are opening doors with startup and digital-nomad visas, long-term work pathways — especially in the U.S. — are getting more complex, with stricter requirements and longer wait times.”
Challenges Faced
What’s one of the biggest challenges skilled immigrants face in the U.S. today? Litvinov acknowledged:
“Many high-skilled professionals, especially from India, face multi-year backlogs for green cards. Indians make up over 70% of all H-1B approvals each year, with many working in high-impact roles across AI, engineering, and product. Yet, over a million are stuck in decades-long waitlists, despite holding advanced degrees and powering U.S. innovation.”
Dreem’s AI
How does Dreem’s AI actually work in practice? Litvinov emphasized:
“AI should support, not replace, expert strategy. At Dreem, we use AI to analyze profiles, flag risks, and streamline paperwork — but real immigration success still comes from blending data with human insight.”
“Dreem’s AI is trained on hundreds of successful and rejected immigration cases—real-world data for a wide range of tech roles.”
“It also powers an internal AI concierge that monitors the application process, reviews content, flags factual errors, and provides ongoing feedback. The result isn’t just speed, it’s smarter, more accurate applications built on a strategic foundation.”
Dreem’s Traction
Are you comfortable discussing the scale of Dreem’s traction? Litvinov concluded:
“Most of our clients come from FAANG companies or fast-growing startups, and around 70% work in the AI field.”
“Our growth has been strong, 80% quarter over quarter, and we’re now working with both individuals and corporate clients relocating entire teams.”
“We’re building a Unified Talent Platform—a modular SaaS that brings every immigration option under one roof: standalone self-service tools, DIY workflows, and fully managed, boutique-style solutions. Ultimately, our goal is to become the go-to immigration infrastructure layer for global tech, whether you’re a solo founder or a multinational relocating your team.”
“We are also launching a new AI-driven product for attorneys, allowing them to streamline their own casework using Dreem’s backend. We’re not just helping immigrants — we’re reshaping how legal professionals work, too.”
