DTC, a Codan company and provider of advanced tactical communications systems, announced the acquisition of Adaptive Dynamics, a U.S.-based company specializing in anti-jamming and interference mitigation technologies for mission-critical communications and Assured Positioning Navigation and Timing.
Adaptive Dynamics brings more than two decades of experience developing advanced algorithms and RF technologies designed to sustain communications performance in congested and contested electromagnetic environments. Its technologies include intentional and unintentional interference cancellation, signal enhancement, and adaptive filtering techniques for defense and national security applications.
DTC said the acquisition strengthens its strategy to improve the resilience, reliability, and operational effectiveness of communications solutions across land, maritime, and airborne domains. The company added that the deal advances its Spectrum Overmatch capabilities for contested spectrum environments.
Adaptive Dynamics’ technologies are expected to complement DTC’s existing portfolio by enhancing spectral efficiency, mission assurance, and communications reliability for defense and security customers operating in increasingly complex operational environments.
DTC noted that the acquisition aligns with growing demand for communications systems capable of operating in highly contested spectrum conditions and evolving battlefield environments.
