dtcpay has completed a $25 million Series A round, adding Japan’s SBI Group as a strategic investor as the Singapore-based payments company expands its regulated stablecoin infrastructure internationally. Vertex Ventures Southeast Asia & India led the initial tranche in April 2026. SBI Group is participating through SBI Ventures Asset and the SBI-NTU-Kyobo Digital Innovation Fund, with additional participation from Genedant Capital and existing investor Kwee Liong Tek.
Founded by Alice Liu and Band Zhao, dtcpay connects digital assets with conventional financial infrastructure, allowing companies and individuals to accept, store and transact using stablecoins.
Its real-time swap engine supports settlement between stablecoins and fiat currencies, targeting cross-border transfers that can otherwise involve multiple intermediaries and lengthy settlement periods.
The company has introduced a Digital Payment Token point-of-sale system for merchants and integrated WalletConnect, extending stablecoin acceptance across more than 700 wallets.
A Visa partnership also supports a stablecoin-to-fiat Visa Infinite card that can be used for multi-currency spending at more than 150 million merchant locations worldwide.
The additional capital will support product development, merchant-network expansion and international growth.
dtcpay is licensed as a Major Payment Institution by the Monetary Authority of Singapore and holds an Electronic Money Institution license in Luxembourg. The company also has licenses or registrations in Hong Kong, Australia, the U.S. and Canada.
SBI’s investment adds one of Japan’s largest financial groups to dtcpay’s shareholder base as the company seeks to develop payment corridors connecting Asia with other global markets.
