Duke Robotics Appoints Avi Levin As CFO As Drone Company Scales Defense And Utility Platforms

Duke Robotics has appointed capital-markets veteran Avi Levin as Chief Financial Officer as the Nasdaq-listed robotics company moves to expand its drone platforms across defense and civilian infrastructure markets.

Levin will assume the role on October 1, succeeding Shlomo Zakai, who is expected to continue providing financial and corporate consulting support during the transition.

The appointment follows Duke Robotics’ recent Nasdaq uplisting and the appointment of Yiftach Kleinman as CEO.

The company is working to expand commercial adoption of its drone technologies across defense and civilian applications, including electrical grid infrastructure.

Levin brings more than two decades of finance and capital markets experience and has raised more than $130 million through private placements and public offerings involving Nasdaq-listed companies.

He previously served as CFO of Ability, where he helped execute three Nasdaq offerings totaling approximately $100 million.

Levin also served as CFO of RAD Data Communications, which generated more than $150 million in annual revenue, and enterprise AI software company BlackSwan Technologies, where he secured a $30 million institutional financing round.

Earlier in his career, Levin worked at Credit Suisse on IPOs, follow-on offerings and debt financings.

Duke Robotics’ technology includes its Insulator Cleaning Drone for cleaning and monitoring high-voltage electrical infrastructure, its AEROTRACE AI-powered aerial intelligence platform and defense drone technology developed in collaboration with Elbit Systems.
