DwyerOmega Acquires Lake Shore Cryotronics To Expand Precision Measurement Capabilities

DwyerOmega, a portfolio company of Arcline Investment Management, announced the acquisition of Lake Shore Cryotronics, expanding its portfolio of precision measurement technologies. The transaction strengthens DwyerOmega’s position in cryogenic temperature measurement while adding capabilities in magnetics and material characterization.

Founded in 1968 and headquartered in Westerville, Ohio, Lake Shore Cryotronics develops measurement solutions for cryogenic temperature, magnetics, material characterization, and cryostats. The company provides sensors, monitors, controllers, and systems used in applications across quantum computing, aerospace, semiconductors, medical technology, fusion energy, and scientific research. Its portfolio includes metrology-grade devices and calibration solutions designed for precision measurement and control.

DwyerOmega said the acquisition enhances its technology offering and expands its reach across multiple end markets. The combined company aims to provide broader capabilities to customers while supporting continued innovation and product development.

DwyerOmega is a global manufacturer of precision measurement and control solutions used across industrial and controlled-environment applications. The company operates a portfolio of brands focused on helping customers monitor, manage, and optimize critical processes. It is backed by Arcline Investment Management, which manages more than $30 billion in assets and focuses on building long-term industrial platforms.
