DwyerOmega, a portfolio company of Arcline Investment Management, has acquired SOR Controls Group, expanding its portfolio of precision measurement and control technologies. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Founded in 1946 and based in Lenexa, Kansas, SOR designs and manufactures electronic and mechanical instrumentation used to measure pressure, temperature, level, and flow.
The company’s products serve process industries including power generation, energy infrastructure, chemical processing and water treatment.
SOR’s brands include SOR Measurement Controls, SSi Temperature Sensors and SENSOR Sampling Systems.
The acquisition adds SOR’s safety-critical instrumentation products to DwyerOmega’s existing portfolio of measurement and control technologies.
Under Arcline’s ownership, DwyerOmega has expanded through acquisitions targeting mission-critical industrial measurement technologies.
Arcline manages more than $30 billion in assets and focuses on building industrial businesses through internal investment and acquisitions.
