DXP Enterprises Expands Water Division With Acquisition Of Triangle Pump & Equipment

By Amit Chowdhry • Nov 5, 2025

DXP Enterprises announced the completed acquisition of Triangle Pump & Equipment, a long-standing distributor and manufacturer’s representative specializing in pumps and process equipment for the water and wastewater sector. Triangle, founded in 1975 and headquartered in Ridgefield, Washington, brings additional industrial application expertise as well as aftermarket repair and service capabilities. The transaction was funded with cash from DXP’s balance sheet.

The acquisition strengthens DXP’s Water division by expanding geographic coverage and enhancing product and service depth in the municipal and industrial water and wastewater treatment markets. Triangle reported approximately $15.1 million in sales and $2.4 million in adjusted EBITDA for the twelve months ending June 30, 2025. Adjusted EBITDA was defined as income before tax, plus interest, depreciation, and amortization, and certain non-recurring items not expected to continue under DXP ownership.

The signing of the definitive agreement took place on November 1, 2025, and reflects DXP’s continued strategic focus on expanding its water-focused platform. The company stated that it expects the acquisition to benefit customers, employees, and shareholders across both businesses, particularly as DXP continues to pursue additional expansion opportunities into 2026.

DXP Enterprises is a major industrial distributor, providing pumping solutions, supply chain services, and maintenance, repair, and operating services to customers across the United States, Canada, Mexico, and Dubai. Its expertise spans rotating equipment, power transmission, metalworking, industrial supplies and safety products.
