Dytto Raises €1.5 Million Pre-Seed To Build AI Assistant For Accountants

Dytto, a Ghent-based fintech startup focused on modernizing the accounting profession, has raised €1.5 million in a pre-seed funding round co-led by Entourage and Fortino Ventures. The company is building an AI assistant designed to reduce administrative workloads for accountants and enable them to focus more on strategic financial advice.

For many small and mid-sized businesses, accountants serve as their primary — and sometimes only — financial advisers. Yet much of their time is consumed by manual processes, data entry, and administrative tasks rather than high-value advisory work. Dytto aims to address that imbalance by embedding artificial intelligence directly into accountants’ existing workflows.

The company’s AI assistant connects to client data and operates within the tools firms already use, eliminating the need for costly system overhauls or lengthy implementation cycles. By avoiding months-long rollouts and switching costs, Dytto is positioning itself as a practical solution built for fast team-wide adoption.

Dytto reports that firms across Belgium, the Netherlands, and the UK are already using the platform, with early results described as promising. The company is currently operating with a small team based in Ghent and plans to use the new funding to accelerate product development and hiring.

With its mission to “free the accountant,” Dytto is betting that AI-driven automation can unlock capacity within accounting firms, allowing professionals to spend less time on administration and more time delivering financial insight to their clients.
