E Source Acquires Aneden Consulting To Expand Grid Engineering And Interconnection Capabilities

E Source has acquired Aneden Consulting, expanding its grid modernization, engineering, and interconnection capabilities as growing electricity demand increases pressure on power-grid connection queues.

Aneden is an engineering and compliance firm serving ISOs, RTOs, utilities, independent power producers and renewable energy developers.

Founded in 2017, Aneden specializes in helping customers navigate interconnection due diligence, compliance and increasingly complex grid requirements.

The company will become part of E Source’s Grid Engineering and Interconnection solution area.

E Source said the acquisition increases its technical depth as utilities, developers and hyperscalers face longer and more complicated interconnection processes.

The transaction expands E Source’s ability to combine consulting, grid engineering and data-driven decision support for energy-sector customers.

McGuireWoods advised E Source. Westbury Group and Taft Law advised Aneden.
