Eagle Point: $15.3 Million Raised With IMDC For U.S. Government Project

Eagle Point Credit Management, a Greenwich, Connecticut–based private credit investment manager, has closed a $15.3 million senior secured credit financing agreement with Integrated Modular Data Center (IMDC), a leading manufacturer of factory-built, large-scale modular data centers.

The funding will enable IMDC to execute a subcontract with a single-A rated government prime contractor responsible for delivering a major modular data center project for a U.S. government entity.

The deal is backed by a guaranty from IMDC’s parent company, iM Data Centers LLC, which operates and develops high-performance computing (HPC), which are capable data centers across North America. iM Data Centers has built a strong financial position through its operational assets and cash-generating portfolio, providing additional credit support for the financing.

Eagle Point’s investment underscores the growing demand for innovative and energy-efficient digital infrastructure solutions as data center capacity becomes increasingly critical to public and private sector operations. The financing represents part of Eagle Point’s broader focus on private credit investments that enable mission-critical infrastructure and technology development.

IMDC’s approach to modular data center construction involves prefabricated, transportable units designed for rapid deployment and scalability. This model enables for faster construction timelines, reduced capital costs, and improved sustainability compared to traditional brick-and-mortar data centers. The company’s solutions are increasingly sought after by both government agencies and enterprises requiring secure, scalable, and energy-efficient computing environments.

The funding from Eagle Point will help IMDC expand its project pipeline and deliver on its growing portfolio of government and commercial contracts. The transaction also highlights Eagle Point’s commitment to supporting infrastructure projects that combine stability, innovation, and long-term value creation through strategic partnerships with experienced operators.

Eagle Point Credit Management, founded in 2012 by Thomas Majewski in partnership with Stone Point Capital, manages more than $13 billion in assets across a range of private credit and structured finance strategies. And its investments span portfolio debt securities, regulatory capital relief transactions, infrastructure credit, and collateralized loan obligations (CLOs). The firm employs over 110 professionals and focuses on underserved areas of the credit markets that offer attractive risk-adjusted returns.

IMDC’s parent, iM Data Centers, is known for designing and manufacturing modular, HPC-capable facilities while also owning and operating its own data centers. The company provides a range of managed services, including its proprietary high-performance computing-as-a-service (HPCaaS) platform, and continues to expand its footprint to meet surging global demand for high-density digital infrastructure.
