Eastern Bank has appointed Alexander E. Anderson as Senior Vice President and Private Banker at Cambridge Trust Private Banking, expanding its capabilities in serving high-net-worth individuals, family offices, institutional investors, and business owners.
Anderson brings more than 15 years of experience in business development, investment management, strategic advisory services, and family office management. His background includes advising wealthy families and institutional investors on domestic and international investment strategies.
In his new position, Anderson will work with Cambridge Trust Private Banking’s clients to address financial requirements spanning investment management, wealth preservation, business interests, and long-term financial planning.
His appointment strengthens the private banking division’s ability to support clients whose personal and professional financial affairs require coordination across multiple disciplines.
Anderson most recently served as Founder and CEO of Impact Strategic Partners, where he led consulting engagements focused on investment management, strategic partnerships, and business development.
Before establishing Impact Strategic Partners, he founded and served as CEO of AEA Capital Partners, an advisory firm working with family offices around the world.
Through AEA Capital Partners, Anderson advised clients on cross-border investments, capital deployment strategies, and other financial matters affecting families with substantial international assets.
Earlier in his career, he advised several ultra-high-net-worth family offices, gaining experience in investment management, due diligence, tax planning, trust administration, and estate planning.
This background provides experience across the financial requirements of wealthy individuals and families, including those managing operating businesses, diversified investment portfolios, and multigenerational wealth.
At Cambridge Trust Private Banking, Anderson will work within a broader organization that combines personalized banking services with investment management and wealth planning capabilities.
The division serves individuals at different stages of their financial lives, from accumulating assets and managing business interests to retirement planning and transferring wealth to future generations.
Its private bankers also work with companies, organizations, and multigenerational family businesses whose owners may require integrated personal and commercial financial services.
Anderson’s experience advising entrepreneurs and institutional investors will support these relationships as Eastern Bank continues expanding its private banking activities.
He attended Pepperdine University for his undergraduate education and subsequently studied at Harvard Business School through its Owner/President Management Program.
Anderson is also involved in community and philanthropic organizations, including the Dream Center Foundation, World Relief, and the International Rescue Committee.
Cambridge Trust Private Banking operates as a division of Eastern Bank, which was founded in 1818 and serves customers across Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Rhode Island.
Eastern Bank maintains more than 125 branches throughout its regional operating markets.
As of June 30, 2026, Eastern reported approximately $31.1 billion in total assets.
Its Cambridge Trust Wealth Management and Private Banking divisions include an investment advisory business overseeing approximately $10.6 billion in assets under management.
The appointment adds experience in family office advisory services and international investment relationships to Eastern’s private banking organization as it continues serving clients with complex financial requirements.
