Easy Aerial has completed a $20 million Series B funding round to expand manufacturing capacity, international operations and development of its autonomous tethered aerial intelligence and defense systems. The financing included participation from Insight Partners, Entrée Capital and private U.S. investors.
Easy Aerial plans to use the new capital to increase production capacity, support international defense programs and continue investing in autonomous aerial technologies as demand grows across defense, government and security markets.
The financing follows a period of expansion for the company, including multiple new defense and security contracts in the U.S. and international markets.
Easy Aerial develops autonomous tethered drone systems designed for persistent aerial intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance, force protection, perimeter security, emergency response, and critical infrastructure applications.
Tethered systems can provide persistent aerial coverage by maintaining a physical connection to a ground station for power and communications, allowing them to remain deployed longer than conventional battery-powered drones.
The company has also expanded production into Europe while growing its broader global manufacturing and systems-integration network.
Easy Aerial is positioning that manufacturing footprint to support rising demand for U.S.-built autonomous aerial systems from government and defense customers seeking persistent situational awareness capabilities.
The Series B will also support the company’s operational expansion as new programs move from initial contracts toward larger deployments.
Insight Partners brings substantial institutional backing. As of December 31, 2025, the investment firm had more than $90 billion in regulatory assets under management and had invested in more than 900 companies globally.
For Easy Aerial, the $20 million round provides additional capital to move beyond technology development and into larger-scale manufacturing, deployments, and international defense programs.
