eBay’s New Instant Selling Program Makes It Easier For Consumers To Sell Their Smartphones

eBay has announced a new Instant Selling program that allows consumers to quickly sell their smartphones. This program enables consumers to sell devices and get paid instantly with an eBay voucher without having to manage the sales process themselves. And the process should only take a few minutes to set up from the point of starting to the point of receiving payment.

And the Instant Selling program removes the time spent waiting for the device to sell with a new option to receive instant payment in the form of an eBay voucher immediately after the phone is listed. eBay said that standard smartphone trade-in providers typically offer forty to fifty percent off the average market selling price compared to the forty percent higher trade-in value that the online marketplace is seeing on average.

“Millions of Americans have unused phones in their homes and simply don’t realize how much their devices are worth, probably because trade-in values are typically so low,” said eBay’s Vice President of Hard Goods Alyssa Steele in a statement. “With Instant Selling, people can find out exactly how much their phone is worth, and sell their phone within a matter of minutes to immediately help fund the holidays, or maybe something off their personal wish list.”

In a study commissioned by eBay, the company found that a major of Americans (61%) never sold or traded in a smartphone they no longer use. And 2 in 5 Americans (40%) have two or more unused smartphones in their home. This could be worth hundreds of dollars per households.

To get started, you simply have to go to http://www.ebay.com/s/phone and enter your device information to see if it is eligible. Then add some images, click on “List,” and then accept the terms. After that is done, you can receive an instant voucher, which can be used for making other purchases on eBay. You will have to ship your phone quickly with a shipping label that eBay provides.
