ECI Capital has announced the appointment of Ben Kirrage as Investment Manager, marking the firm’s second new addition to its investment team in as many months following the hire of Georgia Ling in September.
Kirrage joins ECI from FNZ, a global wealth management platform, where he served as Chief of Staff for the European business and was part of the Strategy and Corporate Development team. His previous experience includes roles in the M&A advisory divisions at Keefe, Bruyette & Woods and Raymond James, where he focused on software, data, and services transactions across the financial services ecosystem.
At ECI, Kirrage will be responsible for sourcing and executing investments in high-growth and resilient businesses across the firm’s core subsectors. He will also collaborate closely with portfolio company management teams to enhance strategic and operational performance.
The addition of Kirrage further strengthens ECI’s dealmaking capabilities and reflects its continued investment in talent to support its growing portfolio. The firm emphasized that his background in M&A, corporate strategy, and cross-border market expertise will contribute significantly to identifying new investment opportunities and accelerating growth across ECI’s platform.
KEY QUOTE:
“Ben brings with him a great deal of experience in M&A and long-term business planning, which will be extremely useful to support growth strategies for ECI and our portfolio. His knowledge of PE markets in Europe and the US will also be extremely beneficial. This appointment comes on the back of welcoming Georgia Ling to the investment team, and we look forward to working with both Ben and Georgia on our future pipeline of deals.”
