ECI Software Solutions Acquires Amper Technologies To Expand Manufacturing Capabilities

By Amit Chowdhry • Dec 9, 2025

ECI Software Solutions has acquired Amper Technologies, a Chicago-based manufacturer of manufacturing execution systems, in a deal that strengthens ECI’s expanding portfolio of AI-driven tools for industrial operations. The acquisition introduces Amper’s FactoryOS platform into ECI’s suite of cloud-based products, enabling manufacturers to link enterprise planning systems with real-time production floor intelligence.

ECI, headquartered in Fort Worth, Texas, said the transaction enhances its ability to offer end-to-end visibility for small and mid-sized manufacturers. Amper’s MES platform aggregates live data from machines of any age or brand to help operators identify bottlenecks, detect issues, monitor uptime and downtime, and analyze labor and job performance. The system also uses predictive AI features to surface insights that support better decision-making and more efficient workflows.

Integrating FactoryOS into ECI’s ecosystem creates a more connected operational environment that brings planning and execution into a single, data-informed workflow. The addition of smart scheduling, job sequencing, automated progress updates, and workforce analytics aims to give manufacturers greater control over daily production and staffing needs.

Amper customers will continue using their existing products but will now gain access to broader global support from ECI and future product investment. ECI currently serves more than 25,000 customers across more than 90 countries through its vertical software platforms designed for manufacturing, field service, residential construction, office technology, building supply, and distribution.
