Ecobat has completed the sale of its lithium recycling business, marking the company’s final exit from lithium recycling as it focuses its operations on North American lead recycling.
The transaction includes Ecobat’s lithium-ion battery recycling operations and assets in Casa Grande, Arizona.
The sale follows previously completed divestitures of Ecobat’s lithium operations in Darlaston, United Kingdom, and Hettstedt, Germany.
With the transaction completed, Ecobat plans to direct its resources toward its North American lead recycling platform.
The company operates three critical mineral recovery facilities in the U.S. that process millions of batteries annually.
Ecobat recovers lead, tin, antimony and other materials for reuse within manufacturing supply chains.
