Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management said it has appointed Anne-Laurence Roucher as Group Head of Private Markets in a newly created role intended to lead and expand the firm’s private markets business.
Roucher joins Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management’s executive committee and will report to CEO Christophe Caspar. She is based in Geneva. In the position, she will oversee investment strategy and operations across private equity, infrastructure private debt, and real estate, with a mandate aligned to the firm’s focus on impact investing and sustainable finance. The company said the role includes developing an ambitious strategic plan to support future growth across its private markets activities.
Edmond de Rothschild said it manages more than €241 billion in private markets strategies and highlighted capabilities across real estate, infrastructure debt, and private equity. The firm said its real estate arm, Edmond de Rothschild REIM, has €13.6 billion in assets under management and invests across European markets, including residential, logistics, and debt strategies. Its infrastructure debt platform, BRIDGE (Benjamin de Rothschild Infrastructure Debt Generation), manages €6.5 billion and focuses on thematic investments spanning energy transition, digital infrastructure, and transport. The private equity platform manages €4.6 billion across 11 strategies targeting small- and mid-sized companies.
Roucher brings more than 25 years of industry experience and joins from Mirova (Natixis), where she was a co-founder in 2012. Edmond de Rothschild said she served as deputy CEO for more than a decade and helped build Mirova’s investment platform, growing assets under management to €25 billion. From 2021 to 2025, she served as head of private equity and natural capital at Mirova, overseeing strategies focused on growth equity, agroecological infrastructure, and climate finance. Earlier in her career, she held strategy and corporate development roles at Natixis Group and A.T. Kearney. She holds a master’s degree in management from ESCP Europe, completed Harvard Business School’s General Management Program, and is certified as a non-executive director by the Institut Français des Administrateurs.
