Edward Jones Expands Fixed Income And Overlay Management Capabilities Through Moment Relationship And Natixis Acquisition

Edward Jones announced a new relationship with Moment, a fixed income trading and portfolio management platform, along with the completion of its acquisition of Natixis Investment Managers’ Overlay Management Services capabilities. The moves are designed to strengthen the firm’s technology and service infrastructure and expand its ability to deliver personalized, tax-optimized portfolio solutions at scale.

Through the new relationship, Edward Jones’ Fixed Income Trading team will use Moment’s Portfolio Management System to access fixed income portfolio proposal tools and cash flow optimization capabilities. The firm plans to extend direct access to financial advisors over time. The system enables the generation of customized, immediately executable fixed income portfolios aligned with firm guidance and clients’ financial planning, risk tolerance and cash flow objectives.

Separately, Edward Jones has closed on its acquisition of Natixis Investment Managers’ Overlay Management Services capabilities. The newly formed Edward Jones Overlay Management team will now manage overlay services for the firm’s U.S.-based Unified Managed Accounts in-house, services that were previously outsourced to Natixis Investment Managers. Overlay management supports tax-aware, diversified portfolio strategies as part of the firm’s broader comprehensive financial planning approach.

Edward Jones said the combination of the Moment relationship and the integration of overlay management capabilities enhances its ability to provide timely, tailored and tax-efficient portfolio solutions. The firm continues to invest in modern capabilities aimed at equipping its more than 20,000 financial advisors with tools to serve clients’ long-term financial goals.

At the end of December 31, 2025, Edward Jones served more than 9 million clients with $2.5 trillion in client assets under care across the United States and Canada.
